Reading to Heal: Using Books as Therapy for Children and Teens

This course will provide an overview of grief group curriculum that uses bibliotherapy to engage grieving children and teens. Sample group curriculum will be provided that provide resources for a 6-8 week grief group!

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will be able to identify 2-3 benefits of reading therapy.
Participants will examine the grief group curriculum that integrates and uses bibliotherapy and address how they can use the curriculum in diverse clinical settings.
