Understanding Ambiguous & Non-Death Loss

This introductory online course explores ambiguous and non-death loss: experiences of loss that are ongoing, unclear, or invisible, such as divorce, estrangement, infertility, relocation, chronic illness, or identity changes. Because these losses don’t have a clear ending or social rituals, they often leave people feeling stuck, confused, and emotionally drained.

This 90-minute session offers a compassionate and accessible introduction to ambiguous loss, why it affects us so deeply, and how to live with uncertainty without feeling broken or alone.
