Dr. Kailey Bradley, Ph.D., LPCC-S, NCC, FT received her master’s in clinical mental health counseling in 2015 from Ashland University and her Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from Ohio University in 2024. Dr. Bradley spent five years (2015-2020) as a pediatric hospice bereavement coordinator before opening her own counseling practice Refuge Counseling and going back to school in 2021. Currently, she is the co-owner of Refuge Counseling LLC and is an adjunct professor of thanatology at Marian University and an adjunct professor of counseling at Marshall University where she teaches a wide range of course including: crisis counseling, grief counseling, intro to death and dying, pediatric hospice care, childhood bereavement, grief theory, disenfranchised grief, and expressive arts in counseling. Dr. Bradley also has 9 peer reviewed publications (currently) on topics related to bereavement and counseling and she is the current president of the Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling Ohio Division.
