Stephanie Smith

Wilmington, NC

Stephanie holds a Master of Science degree in Thanatology from Marian University, a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies/Philosophy from UNCW, and holds a dual major BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies. She is an AAGC-certified grief counselor as well as a certified death doula and certified end-of-life specialist from the Conscious Dying Institute. She is an instructor at the Univerity of North Carolina Wilmington, Marian University, and the OLLI life-long learning institute. She also works as a volunteer at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, NC Donate Life, and is a volunteer Long Term Care Community Advisory Committee member in New Hanover County, NC.

In her spare time, she enjoys ultra running, ultra swimming, surfing, and spending time on the beach with her husband and dog.
